نویسندگان

چکیده

Periodontal patients often report dentin hypersensitivity (DH) caused by root surface exposure or periodontal treatment. Tubular blocking technologies in toothpastes are effective for pain relief, but no specific chemical/physical agent has been reported patients. This double-blind randomized clinical trial compared the effects of three reducing DH Eighteen (18) participants were randomly assigned into groups: SEN (NOVAMIN technology); REG (REFIX REGK technology + potassium citrate). presenting with evaluated at 6 moments: T1 and T2 - immediately before after scaling planing procedures (SRP); T3 polishing sensitive areas their dentifrice T4, T5, T6 2, 4 8 weeks SRP respectively. Sensitivity was assessed air blast (Schiff scale) patients’ perceptions using visual analogue scale (VAS). Data analyzed two-way repeated measures ANOVA complemented Tukey test significance set 5% (p <0.05). Preliminary outcomes revealed SEN, REGP reduced (n=18). All initially presented moderate to severe (64.3) treatment they mild (21.3). Similarly, dentist evaluation showed significant reduction use (2.26 0.56). No statistically differences found between study groups (p=0.751) evaluations (p=0.632). According these preliminary outcomes, all equally Clinical trials #NCT04422184

BACKGROUND Dentin hypersensitivity (DH) is a frequent condition in adults and difficult to treat. The aim of this single-blind, randomised controlled clinical trial was to investigate immediate and long-term effect of ozone treatment (Prozone, W&H NORDIC AB) for 12 seconds on hypersensitive teeth compared to placebo treatment, using a split-mouth design. METHODS 26 patients (12 M, 14 F, mean ...
